I can confirm that the migration of the data to Mobile Password Safe was easy, and it works well using any browser but IE. OK, I will attempt to transfer the data to Datavault, as per suggestion from Marc, and his contact information and report back on that. (Prior discussions of this topic have been archived) I will be testing both of these possible solutions, since I’m tired of waiting for DataViz to ever create an app for the iPhone.ĭoes anyone have direct experience with either of these solutions? Synchronization between all three is explained, but it could be rather tricky.
The important thing is that DataVault is capable of handling PWP data in the same way that the original DataViz product did (with some improvements, presumably).ĭataVault does have an iPhone app, plus desktop versions that work in Windows and Macs with the most recent Mac OS. I’ve read (Facebook DataViz discussion) that importing the PWP exported cvs file into DataVault from Ascendo is quite straight forward, involving some manipulation of the data in an Excel format. Paste in your passwords and click Import at the top of the pageĪnother possible solution is DataVault from Ascendo. On the Mobile Password Safe page, after you have entered your password, click the Options link and click ImportĨ. With everything selected, select Copy from the Edit menu (or Ctrl-C)ħ. Launch the Notepad application, and choose Open from the File menu, change Files of type to All Files, and select the CSV fileĥ.
